The assembly contains 2 editions to choose from: the updated original Win 11 IoT Enterprise + assembly (based on it). The latest updates for January 2024 are built in (major cumulative update and security update for the .NET Framework).

Installation recommendations
• Updated original (like the assembly) – for a clean installation.
• We recommend Ventoy (it was the one that was used when testing the assembly) for writing an iso image to a flash drive.
• After installing Windows, you need to wait a little for the system to automatically install the drivers.
• The recommended option is an updated original (if you want maximum reliability). Windows 11 IoT Enterprise provides the full range of features that exist for this version of the operating system.

Differences in the configuration of the updated original Win 11 IoT from the standard Microsoft configuration
• No TPM2/UEFI required.
• Automated installation + local account will be offered to you by default.
• Built-in add-ons VC++, DirectX.

Cut components in Windows 11 IoT 23H2 build
• Edge and Xbox are completely cut.
• Additional (optional) text/speech services (recognition, spelling, forecast, etc.) have been removed.
• No Cloud (also completely removed).
• Delivery Manager has been removed.
• Some tiles have been cut: Cortana, Weather Maps, News, Mail and Calendar, as well as:
Clipchamp.Clipchamp, GamingApp, GetHelp, Getstarted, MicrosoftOfficeHub, MicrosoftSolitaireCollection,
MicrosoftStickyNotes, People, PowerAutomateDesktop, SecHealthUI, Windows.Photos, WindowsAlarms,

Built-in components in both editions
• Both the updated original and the assembly will automatically have VC++ and DirectX add-ons installed.
• The standard composition of Windows Components has not changed in both editions.

Added folders to the Desktop in the Win 11 IoT Enterprise build
• Activation (in the folder there is a fresh HWID MAS activator for a permanent license).
• Block_Telemetry. Tweak from Sunlex to further enhance privacy. The main telemetry in the assembly is already turned off initially.
• Stop_WinUpdates. A tweak from Dima Bulygin that blocks receiving cumulative updates. But at the same time, the ability to add Components remains, and the Store also works. This tweak is taken from his build of Windows 10 IoT LTSC 21H2, so the tweak is offered experimentally in the build of Windows 11. After application, the tweak disables receiving updates on the corresponding tab in Settings. It’s up to you to decide whether to use this tweak or not.
