Establishing a connection.
TrustViewer can work without installation on a computer, in which case all settings related to connecting via the Internet will be performed automatically, however, some program capabilities that require administrator access rights may be limited.

If a direct connection between computers is not possible, then one of the company’s intermediate public proxy servers is automatically used for communication. However, on the official website of the program, a free specialized proxy server “TrustServer” is also available, installed on servers with Windows and Linux operating systems, and allowing client applications on corporate networks to accept incoming Internet connections, thus ensuring control of outgoing and incoming traffic associated using the TrustViewer program.
TrustServer can be installed both on a public Internet server in https-proxy mode, and on a local organizational server in socks5-proxy mode, and in the latter case, no additional configuration of client applications is required – the server will be detected automatically. In addition, automatic connection of client applications to a public Internet server is also possible; for this, it is enough to configure and run TrustServer in cascade server mode on the organization’s local server.

How to use the program:
Installation and configuration.
The TrustViewer program is designed to work in all versions of the Windows 32/64 bit operating system (technical support is provided starting from Windows XP SP3). Installing the program on your computer is not mandatory, and in most cases it is not required – each time you start, the optimal parameters for operation are determined automatically (including connecting through a proxy with Kerberos/NTLM authorization), but in this case, change and save the settings “ “by default” will not work. To install the application, click the “Install TrustViewer on this computer” button located on the main form of the program and follow further instructions. After the program automatically restarts, it becomes possible to change and save settings, the most important of which is setting up incoming Internet connections. Press the “Menu” button and select the “Settings” tab, then “Connections”. It is recommended to use the mode to automatically detect all available Internet addresses on your computer. If none of the addresses are available, check the router settings (UpNP mode must be enabled), Teredo (the service must be enabled and configured) and also make sure that your Anti-Virus and Firewall are not blocking the port of incoming connections (by default it is port 443). In some cases, it is necessary to specify the address for incoming Internet connections manually. Attention! For corporate networks, it is recommended to configure a connection to a specialized proxy server “TrustServer”, in which case the external Internet address will be obtained automatically.

There is also a free specialized proxy server “TrustServer”, installed on servers with Windows and Linux operating systems, and allowing, firstly, client applications on corporate networks to accept incoming Internet connections, and secondly, to gain full control over traffic and independence from the main group of servers (including allowing full operation in private networks without Internet access). TrustServer can be installed both on a public Internet server in https-proxy mode, and on a local organizational server in socks5-proxy mode, and in the latter case, no additional configuration of client applications is required – the server will be detected automatically. In addition, automatic connection of client applications to a public Internet server is also possible; to do this, it is enough to configure and run TrustServer on the organization’s local server in cascade server mode (used only for automatic configuration, all traffic will be routed through the parent server). To get complete help on setting up the TrustServer program, run it with the “?” parameter. In the client application, the server address can also be specified explicitly; to do this, open the menu item “Settings”, “Connections” – “Advanced”, then on the “TrustServer” tab, uncheck “Automatic server detection” and enter the server address and port.
