Torrent CPU Temp 1.6.0.0 in detail:
CPU Temp uses a clear and intuitive interface to provide an easy-to-use solution for checking CPU temperature as well as other important CPU metrics. On the left is the navigation bar, divided into separate menu items, each of which is associated with specific functions of the application.
• CPU temperature monitor
• Previous
• Next
• Main view
This is the main view of the CPU Temp Monitor application and contains the following elements:
• Vertical Tiles: Located on the left, these tiles provide quick access to various processor settings.
Application Graph: Located in the center, the graph displays real-time statistics for the metric represented by the tile element.
• CPU Information Section: A summary of important processor information at the bottom of the main screen.
• Thermal Indicator: Conveniently located next to the application title, this component provides a quick look at the current thermal state of the processor.
Tile elements
• By interacting with any tile element (by clicking on it), users can change the application chart to display real-time statistics associated with the selected tile indicator (CPU temperature, CPU clock, CPU usage, CPU power, CPU type).
CPU Temperature: This tile provides a complete overview of temperature readings, allowing users to:
• View CPU case temperature in real time.
• Show Tj Max (Junction Maximum), which represents the maximum operating temperature of the processor.
• Show distance to Tj Max, which shows the difference in degrees from the current processor temperature to Tj Max.
Note: Temperature metrics can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit via the Edit menu.
• Utilization (Load): This tile displays the percentage of CPU utilization of running tasks or processes.
• Clock Speed: Shows the operating frequency of the processor. Higher clock speeds often mean increased performance.
• Power: Shows the power consumption of the processor. The tile can display:
• Power Pack: The total power consumed by the processor.
• Core Power: Power consumed by individual processor cores.
• VID: This tile shows the voltage that the processor requires (requested by the processor) to operate. However, it is important to distinguish this metric from the actual voltage (vCore).
The thermal indicator uses a three-color scheme to visually display the current temperature range at which the processor is operating. To configure temperature thresholds, users can go to the Settings menu located in the left navigation bar.
Green: Indicates the normal operating temperature of the processor, set in the range of 1-60°C (33-140°F).
Orange: Indicates the processor’s high temperature zone, which defaults to 61-85°C (141-185°F).
Red: Warns that the processor temperature is approaching a critical level, defaults to a range of 85°C (186°F) to the TjMax limit.

Viewing CPU Data Graphs
• This control offers a detailed view of the processor data. Depending on the platform, using CPU Temp Monoitor, you can access five different graph controls, each designed to present aggregated data averaged over a custom time interval defined in minutes.
• Processor data distribution graphs
• Processor Temperature Distribution: Shows the thermal equilibrium for each core (average processor temperature), illustrating how heat is distributed among all processor cores.
• Processor Load Balancing: Gives a clear picture of the load balance of all processor cores, showing the percentage of active processing power of each core.
• Processor Clock Distribution: Displays the consistency of the processor clock across all cores.
• CPU Power Distribution: Shows the distribution of power consumption across all cores, highlighting efficiency and power consumption.
Each graph control shows the average distribution data for each processor core over a configurable time interval window, which is set to 5 minutes by default (or less if the application has been running for less than 5 minutes).
Each bar in the graph represents a specific processor core. The actual time interval window can be configured by going to: Settings -> Data Distribution Graphs Time range for average data graphs. For example, if the time range is set to 3 minutes, the application will calculate the average value for each processor core over the last 3 minutes. Each chart supports a hover option to view details.
