Universal USB Installer is a portable program for creating bootable USB drives with Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as other boot programs. The utility supports writing bootable images of Windows 10/8.1/7 and Vista to a USB device, as well as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Puppy Linux and dozens of other Linux distributions. Universal USB Installer uses specific configurations for each image, which will ensure that it boots correctly and works from a USB drive. To write images to a USB disk that are not in the list of supported images, the options “Try Unlisted Linux ISO”, “Try Unlisted Linux ISO (GRUB)” and “Try via DD (Overwrites disk)” are available at the bottom of the list, which write ISO images from using appropriate bootloaders.
Note:
To boot OpenSUSE, CentOS and some other distributions, your USB drive’s volume label will be set to “UUI”. The program automatically creates a volume label, but sometimes this may not work. If you have problems using a bootable USB device, make sure the volume label is “UUI”.

Important! The Windows to Go option requires the USB to be formatted as NTFS with 20 GB of free disk space to store the virtual disk. See FAQ for more information.
